Sine notis [beginning of August 1785].
From Giambattista Bodoni [Parma] to Giuseppe Lucatelli [Rome].
Bodoni sympathises with Lucatelli’s predicament and advises him not to do anything rash. He informs him of Father Paciaudi’s death and the Spaniard Jerónimo Obach’s fall from grace, expressing his sadness at these events. He offers him hospitality in his house at Parma, and money to be sent via José Nicolás de Azara. He asks him to bring with him Paciaudi’s portrait.
